Booking tips
Marching bands come in all sorts of lineups. Some play more traditional music and can be seen in parades at Oktoberfest or at Christmas time, as well as at various private events throughout the year.

Professional marching bands often take requests, but you must give them plenty of notice. Also, please keep in mind that marching bands may charge a small extra fee to prepare songs that are not already on their song list. You can always contact us for the bands’ song list.
Your marching band usually arrives about an hour before their performance begins. To get set up before they start playing. To avoid delays, make sure the performance venue is ready for the Marching Band before they arrive
As described above, these types of bands are suitable for many different events. From private parties to corporate events. Our bands are also often booked for Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest is a German festival that takes place annually in October (or late September). This traditional folk festival often involves drinking beer and lots of music and dancing. The usual musical accompaniment is polka/beerhouse music played live by a costumed “oompah” brass band.
Marching musicians have also accompanied brides and grooms on their way from church for generations. Often consisting of trumpets, horns, trombones, tuba and drums, these bands are still very popular for weddings and all kinds of outdoor events. There’s nothing like the sound of a parade on a summer day!
It may sound obvious, but if you’re organizing a public event, please don’t automatically assume that it’s okay to have a marching band perform. Take into account any noise restrictions and regulations, and always get the right permits if you want your band to march in the street. We’re happy to help!
Prices for marching bands can vary and often depend on the size. Some of them are happy include only 5 members, others can have almost 15 participants. This, of course, affects the price. A typical 8-piece marching band will charge at least 1,000 Euros. If you would like to reduce the cost of travel, we will be happy to help you find a Marching Band in your area.

Some marching bands will perform more traditional music. Others will adopt a different style, like oompah bands or samba groups. New Orleans jazz groups will try to create a true Mardi Gras style celebration! Lately, we’ve also seen a big trend in brass bands reviving funk and soul classics, like The Hot 8 Brass Band.
Some brass bands will be able to accommodate a personal request or two, but keep in mind that it takes a lot of time to rehearse new songs. So make sure you talk to the band of your choice as far in advance as possible, and preferably provide sheet music.
