25 years of Polish German music
Our unique singer with Polish roots worked out a German – Polish music program for this special day. Various very well-known Polish and German jazz singers, who are completely unknown to us in Germany, were heard for the first time, such as:
Czy czasem tesknisz- Aleksander Wrubel or Shimbalae- Maria Gadu. This wonderful singer.
My Polish Heart- a musical journey with the singer.
The singer comes from the pearl of southern Poland, the cultural metropolis Krakow. Iza gained her musical experience with band projects in many countries around the world, including Brazil, Portugal, South Africa and the USA.
With the program “My Polish Heart” she is going back to her Polish roots and giving an insight into the Polish pop and jazz music of the last decades.
Wrapped in an acoustic garment, these interpretations of well-known Polish hits sound elegant and light. Sometimes a beautiful poem is set to music in a playful and curious way, sometimes a folk song sounds modern.
The Poles among the audience rediscover some of the almost forgotten favorite songs from their childhood. Non-Poles enjoy the musical excursion to the land of great improvisation.
